Group A Golf State Championship

Does anybody know who won the Group A golf state championship? I know R-H was down 4 strokes going into today. Also, any individual medalists would be nice. Region D usually has somebody up in the running.

Did anyone notice that State Champion Floyd County's best golfer was a girl? She finished 3rd overall out of 72 golfers.

If I'm not mistaken, she finished in the top 5 the previous 2 years. I got to see her play a little 2 yrs ago at LPCC. She's very good. It helps getting to play from the red tees, but she's a quality golfer.

I believe she won it the year it was at LPCC. Yeah, it helps playing from the Red tees, but I still couldn't shoot what she does from the red. My short game is too inconsistent and I'd still hit a few OB.

Congrats to Evan Sturgill from Pound for placing 7th!
